Scope of Works:
• Structural Strengthening of concrete Slabs with the application of Tyfo Fibrwrap Carbon Laminated Strips

Project Description:
A three storey residential building situated in the city of Athens at close proximity with Acropolis and build in the early 1960’s, was refurbished in order to be used as office space.
Structural Strengthening works had to be carried out in order for the building to be updated according to the new Building and Seismic Codes. Among others the structural design specified the strengthening of the top slab with the application of FRP Carbon Strips and the material of choice was Tyfo Fibrwrap Carbon Laminated Strips.
Fibrwrap Hellas performed the works and applied the Tyfo Fibrwrap Carbon Strips according to the design. The project was completed in only 5 days and while several other constructions works were carried out on site.
